Danny Levinson

Danny Levinson is an American technology entrepreneur and investor who has led teams in both bootstrapped startups and large corporate organizations mostly in the intelligence and cybersecurity spaces, including more than 20 years as a startup founder in the United States and Asia.

During this time he has founded, scaled and exited multiple businesses to both publicly-listed and privately-held organizations (ChinaDispatch sold to Hong Kong’s AMN in 2009; BDL Media sold to US-based Vocus in 2010; ChinaNewswire sold to Australia-based Isentia in 2016; and Boshiyuan to China-based PE in 2020). Danny is an investor, advisor and director at a number of technology and media companies via his position as director at Matoka Capital.

Danny is a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He earned his MS in Cybersecurity from Georgia Tech (United States), an MS in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong (China), and a BA in English from William and Mary (United States). Danny speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
